Get to know Matt a bit deeper?

He's roughly five foot eight with a heavyset build.

2. How old is he?
13. But he's 14 the end of this month XD

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
His head sort of hunches into his shoulders.

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
He's pretty healthy, but still very chubby, due to several years of eating take-aways and junk food because he can't cook and his dad's rarely sober enough.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid
He stomps around everywhere heavily, but is pretty clumsy sometimes.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
He thinks he's pretty decent looking but nothing special.
And that's sort of what he is. XD

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
He's a dark peachy-tan with one small scar under his left eye and another, larger scar around his back.
He's also slowly starting getting acne, but not so much that it's noticable :U

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Colour - Natrually, his hair is dark brown, but he dyes it to black with a red streak along the fringe
Texture - Very thick, strawlike texture.
Style - Long hair, down past his neck. Gells the fringe to sort of stick up over his eyes.

9. What color are his eyes?
A dark, stormy blue.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
He has a big nose :U
And a bunch of scars.

11. What are his chief tension centers?
None (as from reaserch, it means headaches? XD)

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
His clothes are pretty casual. :v He mostly wears Welsh rugby tops and dark green or blue t-shirts and some baggy jeans.

13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
They're either really tight on him because he grows so fast (Upwards and outwards) or they're very baggy to hide his size as he's still a little bit self concious about it.

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
Well, as he doesn't have a job XD
But you could kind of count his school clothes as job clothes? XD
Soooo they're pretty dang different. XD

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Boxers. :U



Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
It's pretty deep for his age, but it's still not fully...developed? XD

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
He tends to speak in a low and even voice. He tends to talk quite easily but may hesitate about certain things.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
He has a pretty heavy Swansea accent, and will add the weird dialect things us Jacks tend to have. (Randomly adding 'like' at the end of sentances, calling people 'mun', saying ain' it/innit instead of isn't it, dropping the h's from some words)
He tends to have extreme difficulty saying very long words.

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
He speaks English and Welsh (Both pretty fluent) and a little bit of French due to school but he didn't really pay much attention to it.

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
If he's at a rugby match (Which is rare, but sometimes his uncles get tickets for him) and it isn't a local team, he may yell at them in Welsh (Especially if it's a Wales V England match)
And if he's taking the mick out of Roland, he sometimes does.

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He tends to blurt words out, not especially thinking too deeply into them.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Well, he's fine with saying his views if someone says something that he strongly disagrees with but sometimes he thinks it best to just sit back and keep quiet.



Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
He...isn't exactly the brightest kid around. He's pretty slow and has trouble writing pages upon pages of work. He mostly struggles through things, but still tries his hardest.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
He tends to act first, think about what he's done later.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
It's most likely a scramble of all sorts of things that just explodes into his actions. XD

4. What kind of education has the character had?
He's had a pretty good one...well, as good as it gets in his area at least.

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
He's very intrested in Woodwork and ICT, but isn't exceptionally skilled in much.

6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
I'd say a bit of both, leaning more towards introvert (Because of his small group of friends)

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
He has terrible mood-swings and temper. His normal expression is a pretty grumpy one.

8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
With people, he tends to be a bit relaxed but wary of them, in case they're not all what they seem.
With situations, he's mostly relaxed about them.

9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
Depends on the situation, really. Usually he'll act if someone he cares about is in danger or whatever.

10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Fight, every time.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
He likes having a good laugh, but he doesn't have an exceptional skill for them.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
Surprisinly, he doesn't.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
His mother's death, I'd say. Before, he was a pretty layed back lil' kid.
He still is, but his mum dying sort of made him coop up in his own world and comfort himself and become a bit more indipendant.

14. What does he fear?
Heights and cargo-lorries (As one caused the car crash his mum died in)

15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
He wants to be something like a bouncer, so he can actually use his size for something intimidating.

16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
Aside from his family and close friends, he doesn't want anyone else to find out about his sexuality.


Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
Before his mum died, his relationship with his parents was pretty good, especially with his mum.
Since then...ehh, he doesn't get along that brilliantly with his father anymore.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
He has one little sister called Ashly.
He loves her more than anything. XD
Obviously like most brothers and sisters they fight sometimes but they're mostly cool with each other. B3

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
He only really has three other blood relatives that he actually sees often XD
He has two uncles, Danny and Tom. They're Mable's older brothers. He thinks they're awesome because they take him to rugby matches and are just awesome. XD
His grandmother (his dad's mum). Who is one of those super-fit, hyper grannies. He loves her, even if she's a bit scary.
Then his other grandmother and grandfather (mum's side) live in Scotland so it's pretty rare he sees them.
And he has a few cousins that he never really sees :U

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
He doesn't really have any sooooo~

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Uh, Roland and Roxxie I'd say.
He met Roxxie in primary. They played sheep together in the Nativity play.
Matt's known Roland since he was a baby. His mum used to be Roland's nanny so Matt was used to hanging around and looking after him. Even after Mable died, Roland's parents were fine with Matt coming around as they got used to him and saw he didn't do their son any harm.

6. Does he have other close friends?
Steven, Zoe and Chris. And Ashly I suppose? XD
He also has another friend but I haven't properly designed them yet. _{Just think of the curly-haired blonde dude from Wingin' It, if you've ever seen it X'D}

7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
He finds it very hard as he isn't very trusting of people and is a bit too grumpy and distant for people to get to know him.

8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
I'd say family, but that's because of Ashly.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
He's single and not really looking for anything serious until he's a lot older.

10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
Nope~

11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
His first crush was Roxxie. c:
And his latest...well, his mind is still all weird and hormonal, so it's currently Steven and Roland...

12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
Oh, he's really not fussy...XD

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
None

14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
Cerith could be considered his rival. He's esentially just a big ol' dick constantly to Matt and picks on him.
Matt's punched him in the face at least twice and gotten into a proper fight with him once. XD

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
Well, he's gay :v
And going by the one on the Wikipedia page...I'd say 5 or 6? X'3

16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
Despite being a confused/messed-up teenage boy, it doesn't really matter to him.
Like a lot of boys he'll mess around about it but he doesn't care. XD

17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
He's a bit too young to have some weird bedroom habits...XD
His turn-ons are guys with bigger guys (In all sort of ways - height/weight/whatever) with fair hair...and also apparently guys who are younger than him?
He doesn't really have any turn-offs yet...X'D



Beliefs

He's a Cancer.

Neither. He doesn't really feel inclined to any form of religion or such out there.

He has pretty much none. :V
He realises that some stuff he does is wrong buuut he doesn't care.

4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
So long as they don't try and shove it down his throat, he's indifferent.

5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
He is untrusting of new people sometimes as he's worried he'll do something to make them hate him.



Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
He's rich enough to survive, but poor enough to not be able to afford luxuries (such as yearly holidays and the like)

2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
He's pretty much always been slightly lower-class.

3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
He lives in a pretty cheap little estate. It's a really basic house, just enough for him, Ashly and their dad to live in.
Condition isn't exactly the best as Matt is just...incapible of doing anything, their Dad is just out of it most days and Ashly attempts to clean sometimes. XD

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Snacks. Mostly chocolate and crisps.

5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He has no job. He goes to school and that's it XD

6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
He tends to spend most of his free time playing on his PS3 (a random present from Roland who didn't want it :U) or flunking around town with Steven and Roland. XD
He used to be in the school rugby team and one outside. He was kicked out of the school one (Twice - once for beating up Cerith and again for punching a linesman X'D) and then he just left the outside one because he was too lazy to go to training.

7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
He never skips a meal, unless he's seriously ill. He eats regularly but tends to over-eat slightly. And he avoids some vegitables :V
